Throughout my 15 year career within the finance industry, I have always worked in roles where I can help people. It’s because I love working with people – no two days are the same and you get a real sense of satisfaction when you make a difference to someone’s life.

My first role at HSBC allowed me to work with international clients, which provided me with the opportunity to speak with interesting people from all around the world. I was also given the opportunity to visit UK branches to support the business development of the Jersey proposition, by training and providing tools to our team members on the ground in the UK. During my 7 years at HSBC, I developed skills and knowledge allowing me to move up through the ranks, until finally deciding a more face-to-face role would be a better fit. Recruitment seemed to offer all those things I wanted, and haven’t looked back since.

From senior recruitment roles at Ogier then as Head of Global Resourcing at Elian, I built up a wealth of experience and a broad network of contacts across all sectors around the world. Next I made the leap to Hong Kong as Talent Acquisition Manager for Willis Tower Watson, helping to shape their recruitment processes – a wonderful time.

With a child on the way, my partner and I decided to return to Jersey. After a short maternity leave, I joined Marbral Advisory as their Talent Acquisition Manager, before moving on to Optimus Recruitment where I met Renny. We hit it off straight away, and now we’re really looking forward to working with you!
